.i am so weak.
.incredibly weak.
the overpowering mastery of sin tries to consume my life. by choice, i would never want to take part. i would never beckon to my weaknesses. i would never seek out the fall.
in reality though, it is a choice.
anyone who has sincerely made the choice to follow the Lord, anyone who has taken the step in faith, the leap, has come in contact with the mastery of sin. we have encountered our pathetic human nature. sin. a combat with Satan himself.
this sin. this is a part of us. a humanly flawed nature.
it is by choice how we take our stand. how we pick up our weapons and fight the battle.
God does not give His grace in vain. He did not sacrifice His Son for us to set our weapons down. Stop setting down the weapons.
God gave us His grace to change what we cannot change. He empowers us with a far greater weapon then the one in Satan's fist.
over the year, I have been learning the true power of prayer. Coming in contact with revelations face to face.
If we are willing to ask, if we are willing to offer up a sincere prayer for change, God will make this change. God's grace and mercy is offered to anyone that will accept it. It is offered to those who seek after it.
We must maintain our battle against sin despite the numerous defeats. despite the humiliation and tears. we must stand firm in faith.
We must fight.
We limit God's grace and power when we do not take a stand.
